Today, I invite you to see our orange man’s room. It is a space that is full of creativity and energy. This room transformation was part Sherwin-Williams National Painting Week and it surprised me even more than I had expected.
I was initially afraid of using orange walls. But it turns out, sometimes, the things we fear most can lead us to the most unexpected, beautiful results. This room is now one of my favorites in my house.
This room is my husband’s music studio and office. It requires a lot more storage space to store his wires and music equipment. It is equipped with a large television and a variety of game systems. It is a true “man’s heaven”.
The color combination in the room is bold, yet harmonious. We chose Knockout orange by Sherwin Williams as the main colour, paired up with a ceiling of white, to create a bright, fresh atmosphere. We tried many different color schemes during the design phase, but we ultimately settled on the orange and black scheme because it best reflects both the personality and the needs of the homeowners.

The room is a mixture of traditional and contemporary elements, with vintage furniture from the husband’s collections and new decor and furniture. Together, these elements create an inviting space full of personality.
The windows on each side of the bookshelf increase natural light and add a sense tranquility and harmony in the room.
This orange man’s bedroom transformation is a great example of a room that not only meets functional needs but also creates an enjoyable space with bold color choices and thoughtful design. It reminds us to not be afraid to try out new things, particularly those that can give your home personality and vitality.
This transformation story is meant to inspire you to experiment with bolder designs in your own home. Don’t forget that your home is a place where you can express yourself.
